Privacy Compliance Certification
BATT therapists have completed the HIPAA and teletherapy certification with Person Centered Tech, and BATT staff have completed additional HIPAA training and certification.
Collection of Your Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain services. This will likely include sending us your email address or phone number when you reach out and make a request for us to contact you about receiving services from a therapist at BATT. At that time, we will use your information for, but not limited to communicating with you in relation to services you have requested from us.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
BATT does not sell, rent or lease its client lists to third parties. While BATT may use a trusted third party to communicate with you (i.e., a digital phone service or email provider), all such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to BATT, and they are legally required to maintain the confidentiality o f your information. BATT may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with the legal process served on BATT or the BATT site; or protect and defend the rights or property of BATT; or act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of BATT or the public.

This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the BATT website.

Right to Deletion
Subject to certain exceptions listed below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will delete your personal information from our records and will direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records where appropriate. Please note, we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if its is necessary to:

Children Under Thirteen
BATT does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this site.
From time to time, BATT may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements or other general information. If you would like to stop receiving communications from BATT via email, simply opt out by sending an email to [email protected] and requesting that all communications take place in another format – and only when absolutely necessary.
