Alycia is a licensed clinical social worker and has nearly 30 years of experience offering therapy in many different settings. Alycia has provided therapy in the wilderness, acute group homes, psychiatric hospitals, homebased settings, juvenile justice facilities and foster care homes. Early in her career she worked with children, adolescents and parents offering both individual and family therapy. Later in her career she became interested in providing leadership for those living and serving in the foster care system. Currently Alycia enjoys working alongside adults committed to overcoming issues that are preventing them from living a more fulfilled life. Alycia offers an eclectic therapy style that assists clients in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, issues of loss and grief, relationship issues, self-esteem issues and overall life stressors and transitions.

In Her Personal Life

When not at work, Alycia likes to spend time with her daughter, Kinsey. Together Alycia and Kinsey like to have ice cream sundae making contests, puppet shows, play outside, watch funny animal videos, and tell the world’s dumbest jokes. Alycia also enjoys sharing her love of travel with her daughter. Beginning in her adolescent years Alycia developed a love of travel that has ultimately led her on many exciting adventures both solo and with friends. Alycia has traveled most of the United States and a few other countries, sometimes working very odd jobs to support her travels. Alycia’s love of adventure and life experiences have provided her with an authentic curiosity and love of connection with others that she brings into the therapeutic environment.
