Meet Laura

Laura Bertagnolli is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a passion for helping children, adolescents, and adults work through life’s challenges and build healthier ways to cope.

Laura earned her degree from Troy University in 2011. She works with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, attachment concerns, adolescent struggles, and the effects of childhood abuse. She also supports victims of domestic violence and helps clients develop healthy coping skills, boundaries, and stronger relationships.

Laura uses a variety of therapy approaches based on each client’s individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, meditation, reality-based therapy, and eclectic approaches.

She believes therapy should be a safe and supportive place where clients can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Laura works with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults, and parents.

Laura also has a special therapy assistant—her therapy dog, Henry! Henry helps create a warm and welcoming environment for clients who enjoy having a furry friend nearby during their therapy experience.
