Meet Kim

Our therapist Kim Carden has dedicated almost 10 years to trauma-informed care. She believes that you are the expert in your life and has the goal to assist you through understanding your grief, depression, trauma, and anxiety. Kim will support you in reaching your goals, while helping you truly heal. She has experience ranging from in-home therapy for families to inpatient residential treatment facilities. Kim works with older adolescents and all adults that want help with their personal growth in a way that is unique for each person. Kim enjoys spending her time gardening, creating new art projects, and discovering all the new things her dogs have gotten into (typically the newest item in the room, and only when her back is turned). She aspires to actually yield more than 4 tomatoes on her plants in a gardening season, and finish her art projects from 6 months ago. One of her favorite things to do is cook for her friends and family while talking for hours about anything and everything. Kim knows that no one is perfect; herself included! Her perspective is just as unique as each individual.
