Margaret Roy is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 40 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. She believes therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and practical solutions. Margaret creates a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Margaret works with adolescents (14+), adults, couples, families, parents, and older adults through individual, couples, and family therapy. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, stress, OCD, caregiver fatigue, chronic illness, chronic pain, anger management, parenting concerns, family conflict, and codependency.
Margaret takes an individualized approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, meditation, and reality-based therapy. She works collaboratively with each client to build healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create lasting, meaningful change.
