Our therapist Stephen Killen has five years of experience in working with adolescents and young adults. He believes strongly in the power of choice and is passionate about working with you in developing a plan to reach your personal goals. The cornerstones of his approach to therapy are taking a holistic view of each person he works with, working to empower the individual to make the best choices they can, and celebrating the many accomplishments that come on the journey to living a better life. Stephen works with adolescents and adults who are looking for a better way of doing things or just a little support getting through life. If you are considering making some changes in your life or just feeling a little stuck lately, our therapist Stephen Killen is excited to get to meet you!
In His Personal Life
Stephen likes to spend his time split between a variety of different hobbies. He enjoys board games, reading, painting, playing guitar, and indoor rock-climbing. The random passerby by would probably best describe him as a “jack of all trades and master of none” but perhaps Bob Ross said it best, “Talent is just pursued interest”. Stephen also attempts to ensure that his three cats do not eat any of his small indoor plants that he has recently begun cultivating. Most of all, Stephen tries to find joy in the little things and help others do the same.
