Michelle Grayson McAlpine, M.Ed., LPC-S
Mrs. McAlpine works with individuals, couples, and groups. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor (LPC-S) with twenty- five years of experience. While Michelle is a cognitive behavioral therapist she draws from several counseling approaches to ensure appropriate, individualized therapy. Michelle is committed to meeting the client where he/she is and moving toward emotional, mental and spiritual health with a spirit of respect and empowerment.
Michelle has advanced training in domestic violence, relational issues, anger management, and conflict resolution. She has specialty training in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Michelle has worked with clients who presented with issue related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, behavior problems, marital conflict, empowerment, self-esteem and spirituality.
In Her Personal Life
Michelle loves spending time with her husband, children and large extended family. Her interests are traveling with friends, reading, watching HGTV and listening to music. She is a leader in her church and enjoys singing in the choir. Michelle’s two young adult children are what bring her the most joy as she and her husband watch them build full and interesting lives for themselves.
